FIELD: alcoholic beverage industry. SUBSTANCE: when preparing water-alcohol solution (assortment), rectified ethyl alcohol called "Lux" with volume content of methyl alcohol no higher than 0.02% on conversion to anhydrous alcohol, containing no more than 0.0003% aldehydes (calculated for acetaldehyde), no more than 0.0002% fusel oil, and no more than 0.0018% ethers. Drinking water employed has alkalinity no higher than 1.5 mg-equ/cu. dm, pH 6.7-7.0, solid residue no more than 120-250 mg/cu.dm, and containing following ions, mg/cu. dm: sulfate 20-35, chloride 12-25, hydrocarbonate 20-100, silicate 0.5-4.0, and ferric no more than 0.1. Oxidizability of water does not exceed 15 mg O2/cu.dm. Drinking water is filtered through activated carbon and, if needed, adjusted by adding missing or precipitating excessive amounts of sulfates, chlorides, hydrocarbonates, and silicates in mixtures or individually, or in required combination, refined by passing through quartz sand, and then employed to prepare assortment mixing with alcohol. Assortment is hold in adjustment tank for 3-4 h and then supplemented by receipt component: solution of beet sugar corresponding to 20-25 kg sugar per 1000 dal vodka. Strength of vodka is adjusted at stirring and vodka, after ripening for 1.5 h, is subjected to final filtration through membrane filter with pore size 6 and 2 mcm.
