FIELD: technology of ceramic materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming blanks from charge obtained by combined grinding aluminium oxide and aluminium nitride powder taken at the ratio from 19:1 to 1:19 by mass. Formed and dried blanks were calcined in oxygen-containing atmosphere at 1400-1700 C up to ceasing their mass change. As a result, finely grained monophase corundum ceramic material showing enhanced strength property is prepared. EFFECT: enhanced quality of material, improved method of preparing. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
