FIELD: technology of ceramics producing. SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing titanium dioxide and aluminium nitride powder taken at the ratio, wt. -% aluminium nitride 52.1-74.0 and titanium dioxide 26.0-47.9 followed by their combined grinding, blank forming and roasting in oxygen-containing atmosphere up to ceasing blank mass change. After cooling reaction-caked aluminium titanate-base ceramic material is obtained. This ceramic material shows finely grained structure. EFFECT: increased strength of ceramic material. 1 tbl
