FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine comprises a head of cylinders wherein combustion chambers are formed. The chambers are provided with means for distributing fuel and air which are connected with inlet valves from the side of the combustion chambers and free ends of which are coupled to the common pipe line. The pipe line is provided with air cleaner and air gate. The inlet pipes are provided with a facility for silencing and suppression of gas pulsations. The latter is made up as a pressure-tight casing that enclose the inlet pipe lines with a spaced relation. The portions of the pipe line that are inside the space are provided with openings that connect the spaces with the inlet pipes. EFFECT: enhanced silencing. cl, dwg
