FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: device is located in heat emitting unit which has head 1, housing 3 and tail 11. Rocker is mounted freely in one hole 2 of heat carrier of head 1. One arm 7 of rocker has fork clamp which holds rod 5 with set of absorbing rods 4. Arm 8 is entered to hole of clad-metal element plate 9 which is mounted as cantilever on head 1. When temperature of heat carrier flow is increased abruptly, clad-metal element plate 9 is bent, goes out of clamp to arm of rocker arm 8. This results in possibility rotation of rocker around axis 6 and releasing unit of absorbing rods 4 from fork clamp of arm 7 down to active core. EFFECT: increased reliability of suppression of chain reaction. 2 dwg
