SUBSTANCE: product: 3'- and/or 2'-amino- or thiol-modified nucleosides, nucleotides or oligonucleotides of the general formula (I) where: R1 - purine or pyrimidine base; one of R2 and R3 is fluorescent dye bound through amino- or thiol-group at α- or b-position and other - hydrogen, hydroxy-group, protected hydroxy- or methoxy-group at a- or b-position; n = 0-10; R4 - 5'-protective group, phosphate; R5 - hydroxy- or methoxy-group or hydrogen at α- or b-position; Y and X - oxygen or sulfur. Compound is synthesized by conversion to the corresponding azide or thiol and reduction of azide to amine followed by binding to amino- or thiol-group of fluorescent dye (rhodamine, coumarin).. Synthesized compounds were used in molecular biology for genetic material analysis. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis.
