FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: electrostatic dust precipitator with automatic control incorporates leads screw of transverse feed connected to feed motor. Screw is put into holes made with uniform spacing in dust precipitating electrodes and moves dust precipitating electrodes in horizontal direction to ensure constant optimal conditions of precipitation. Lead screw of transverse feed working together with feed motor moves dust precipitating electrodes so adjusting their positions as to constantly maintain optimal conditions of effective precipitation by setting drive unit in motion on basis of comparison of standard precipitation current and value of induced current in signal detector taking into account factors influencing precipitation efficiency. Unit generating emergency signal actuated in case of abnormal operational conditions for dust precipitating electrodes or in case of necessity of their cleaning.
