FIELD: chemistry of organosilicium compounds. SUBSTANCE: organoalkoxy silanes are prepared by interaction of granulated magnesium (size of their granules being 1-20 mm) with halogenated organic compounds and with tetraalkoxy silanes. The process is carried out at elevated temperature, magnesium being prepared by granulation in magnetic field being used. EFFECT: decreased viscosity of desired product and decreased content of magnesium in it.
