FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat treating of metals and alloys and may be used in mechanical engineering and other industries consuming high-strength steels with low coefficient of thermal expansion. Method includes heating to 1150 C, isothermal aging, 20% deformation when cooling to 600-620 C, isothermal aging at this temperature for 2-3 h, cooling in water, and cold deformation.
