FIELD: machine tool manufacture, particularly apparatuses for discharging cutting fluid of metal cutting portal-type machine tool for making deep holes in tube walls or in identical large-size parts used in power machine engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for discharging cutting fluid with chip out of deep drilling zone of portal-type machine tool includes removing member and at least one member 18 for disintegrating chip mounted in cavity 15 of housing 14 in zone of its outlet opening with possibility of engaging with chip moving from cavity to pipeline 21 together with cutting fluid. Member for removing cutting fluid is joined with machine tool portal carrying spindle assembly 6. Cavity of housing 14 by means of pipeline 21 and member for removing cutting fluid is connected with reservoir 25 for accumulating chip and cutting fluid. Apparatus is also provided with additional member 24 for disintegrating chip in the form of different-length knives joined with stay sleeve 17 mounted in housing 14.
