DEVICE FOR DISCHARGE OF LUBRICANT-COOLANT OF BRIDGE-TYPE METAL-CUTTING MACHINE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: machine-tool manufacture, particular, devices for discharge of lubricant-coolant of bridge-type metal-cutting machine designed for drilling deep-holes in tube sheets and similar large-size parts applicable in power engineering industry. SUBSTANCE: device for discharge of lubricant-coolant with chips from zone of deep drilling is made in form of body 14 accommodating stay bush 17 and aligning bushing 16. Stay bush 17 is made integral with member for chip-crushing in form of blade 18 located on the end of blade in hollow 15 of body 14. Stay bush 17 is installed in body 14 by means of bearing 19 for interaction with stem of deep-hole drill 12. Chip crushing member may be made also in form of additional bushing 24 with blades on its end located in body 14 of device for collection of used lubricant-coolant. In this case, additional bushing is located coaxially to stay bush 17 and connected with body of mechanism for collection of lubricant-coolant by means of bearing. Internal surface of body 14 is of toroidal shape and withdrawing member is made in form of open trough 22 installed at some angle to machine tool baseplate. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 cl, 4 dwg
