FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: this is used for investigation of oil wells, oil beds and their sections. Method implies analysis of dependence between accumulated volume of produced oil and accumulated volume of produced liquid and intensity of product flooding. Additionally determined is volume of oil produced in waterless period of operation. Volume of extracted oil reserve is calculated by following formula: V^∞ = V^o+[(V -V^o)^1-α-(V_l-V^o)^1-α]^1/(1-α), where V^∞ - volume of extracted oil reserve, t; V^o - volume of oil extracted in waterless period of operation, t; V and V_l - accumulated volumes of produced oil and liquid respectively, t; α - parameter which characterizes intensity of product flooding which is determined from following formula: , where B - product flooding in fractions of one.
