FIELD: microbiology. SUBSTANCE: method involves subcutaneous administration of 0.5-1 ml suspension of the examined material in saline solution to experimental animals. Suspension is mixed preliminary with the heparinized guinea pig blood at ratio = (1:0.5)-(1:0.7) where the following components were added: 0.5-0.7 ml chicken egg yolk, 5-7 mg cortisone and 90-120 mg dry milk. Smears taken from administration locus were stained with fluorescent immunoglobulins and the obtained results were recorded under luminescent microscopic analysis. The proposed method ensures to detect brucellas at their small concentration ((I04 - I0I)) in the examined material in 3-4 days. EFFECT: improved method of detection, simplified procedure. 2 tbl
