FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: mobility of geoblocks of various hierarchical level relative to base one is determined with the use of longitudinal deformation meter with immobile base support and automatic register. Blocks of checked level can be selected both by natural geophysical indications and by computation method. Case of base support houses electromagnets with cores and distance pieces in the form of levers with rests inserted for opposite turn. Deformation meter is manufactured in the form of rod fixed in base support and mobile relative to rod of case with distance piece for installation of case on sedimentary rock or bedrock. Radiation sources are placed into rod, case houses radiation detectors to detect and register movement of checked blocks. Register is manufactured in the form of electron device to determine, convert and store information on displacement value in checked blocks with reference to base one.
