FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying massage in pulsating mode by using travelling wave method. Pulse duration takes not more than one third of interval between pulse cycles. Pulse is sent at least in 25% of interpeak interval beginning from wave maximum being reached. The device has pulse transducer, control unit, electric motor with shaft on which four cams are disposed at an angle of 60 deg to each other and additionally equipped with massage ribbons positioned all along the shaft length above the cams. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment applied at the time of maximum muscular relaxation. 6 cl, 3 dwg
