MULTIPURPOSE SEAL-LOCK Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; locking of objects without fixed size of bars and bar-to-bar distance; locking and sealing of railway cars and containers, tanks, freight sheds, storehouses, shops, hatches and automobiles. SUBSTANCE: multipurpose seal-lock has body with head, fixing and locking members. Locking member is connected by tie in form of cable length with additional end piece, and is made in form of cylindrical rod with pointed end at one side and one-side bevelled teeth on side surface. Both ends of cable length are rigidly connected to end piece and cylindrical rod of locking member, respectively. Fixing member is made in form of two separate members with outer taper surface corresponding to inner taper surface made in body, and with inner surface on which one-side bevelled teeth and made for engagement with corresponding teeth of locking member. Fixing members are spring-loaded relative to body. Place for application of required data is provided on side surface of end piece on which through hole is also made for passing the locking member.
