METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF SPECIAL VODKA "OTCHIZNA" Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: alcoholic beverage industry. SUBSTANCE: ethyl alcohol of highest rectification and water is mixed at the rate of 40% vol. of vodka. Prepared aqueous-alcoholic liquid is passed through layer of activated carbon, and then blended with aromatic alcohol from St.John'swort and wormwood, and honey solution. Before preparation of aromatic alcohol wormwood is preliminarily aged in a part of honey solution for 40-60 min in ratio 1:1. Prepared blending is filtered and bottled. Ratio of ingredients is the following, kg/1000 dal: St.John'swort, 0.1-0.2; wormwood, 0.1-0.3; honey, 1-3; aqueous-alcoholic liquid, the balance. EFFECT: improved taste. 1 tbl
