FIELD: rolling equipment, namely rolling stand of mills for rolling sheet and wide strips. SUBSTANCE: rolling stand includes frame, stationary hydraulic units with rams, backup and rolling rolls with chocks. Changeable wear-resistant cover plates are secured to lateral surfaces of hydraulic units. Chocks of rolling rolls have wings engaging with rams. Length of wings of chocks of upper rolling roll is less than that of chocks. Wings are arranged along axis of ram in slits of upper portions of changeable cover plates and hydraulic units. EFFECT: increased accuracy of rolling process, enhanced quality of rolled strips, lowered idle time periods of mill, enhanced operational life period of rolls and their bearing assemblies. 3 dwg
