FIELD: applied meteorology, in particular, dissipation of fogs and clouds above ground objects, such as airports, sea ports, agricultural lands etc. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has corona wire with equally spaced portions having increased radius of curvature. Curved portions are distributed along wire length at pitch equal to space between supports and arranged in symmetry with supports. Wire is attached to insulators at portions having increased radius of curvature. Length of portions having increased radius of curvature is at least equal to height at which wire is attached to insulators above earthed surface at each side of each support. Apparatus allows ground objects to be protected from adverse weather conditions during operation of these objects. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction, wider operational capabilities and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 cl, 1 dwg
