FIELD: electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: digital- to-analog converters of both design versions have 2n series- connected resistors assembled in M groups of 2n/M resistors in each group, 2n MOS switches assembled in M groups of 2n/M switches in each group, (M+1) group of 2n/M MOS switches, and two decoders. In first version, switches of groups from first through J1 are built around N-channel MOS transistors, those of groups J2 through M are built around P-channel MOS transistors, switches of groups (J1+1) through (J2-1) and (M+1} are built up of parallel-connected P- and N-channel MOS transistors. In second version, switches of groups from first through M/4 are built around N-channel MOS transistors, those of groups (M/4+1) through M and (M+1) are made of parallel- connected P- and N-channel MOS transistors.
