FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: according to method, driven are main and adjoining underground mine workings with supporting of acute-angled part of pillar. Artificial support is installed in collar of adjoining underground workings. In carrying out heading operations, roof of underground workings is supported by anchors of two levels. Supporting of acute-angled part of pillar is effected by anchors of its side during driving of main underground working. As adjoining working is being driven, main working has its roof being additionally supported by anchors which are inclined in opposite side from pillar. Shanks of aforesaid inclined anchors are connected with tension to anchors located in through-holes of pillar at roof. Opposite ends of anchors in adjoining working are connected with shanks of additional anchors in it which are installed at incline in opposite direction from pillar. Opposite sides of pillar are additionally hugged via through-holes by means of pretensioned anchors inserted through them during driving of adjoining mine working. Application of aforesaid method improves reliability and efficiency of supporting junctions of underground mine workings, increases their stability, reduces expenses for supporting junctions of workings due to more complete utilization of load-bearing capacity of enclosing rock of mass and common mode of cooperative operation of mass rock, anchor support, and rock matter of acute-angled part of junction of underground mine workings.
