FIELD: mechanical engineering; road-building machines and other transport facilities. SUBSTANCE: brake is provided with cooling system mounted in brake disk 2. Cooling system includes thermal tubes 11 and L-shaped and U-shaped thermal elements which consists of semiconductor elements with n-type and p-type conductance. First ends of semiconductor elements are located flush with friction surface of brake disk 2; second ends of semiconductor elements are mounted in contact with hot zones of thermal tubes. Part of working surface of friction linings 4 is made from metal powder for forming hot junction of thermoelements at interaction with ends of semiconductor elements. EFFECT: improved operational parameters of brake; increased service life of brake friction pairs through intensification of cooling. 3 dwg
