FIELD: electrical engineering, in particular, hot water and heat supply systems. SUBSTANCE: device has housing which contains water to be heated, and sequence of heating elements, which are located in housing. Each of heating elements is designed as two coaxial cylindrical metal electrodes, one of which is solid. Electrode are equipped with current terminals. Inter-electrode space in each element is split into several sections by horizontal water-tight dielectric walls. Each section in outer electrode is equipped with holes. Lower part of sections has greater number of holes in comparison to upper parts. EFFECT: decreased size, simplified design, increased reliability of operations. 1 dwg
