FIELD: electrical engineering; hot-water supply and heating systems. SUBSTANCE: heater has housing holding liquid being heated and set of heating elements each made in the form of two coaxial cylindrical metal electrodes of which one is solid structure; electrodes are provided with current lead-ins; electrode-to-electrode space in each element is divided into a number of sections by means of water-tight horizontal insulating barriers; each section of external electrode has through holes greater number of them being in lower section and smaller number, in upper one. Novelty is that through holes in lower part of each section are made level with water-tight horizontal insulating barrier that has bow- shaped joint with internal electrode. EFFECT: enhanced stability and operating reliability of heater. 1 dwg
