METHOD OF PRODUCING VODKA "PERESVET" Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: alcoholic beverage industry. SUBSTANCE: ethyl rectified alcohol of the highest purification and corrected potable water are mixed up to 40% of alcohol strength. Glucose is dissolved in a small amount of solution, separated into two doses and one of them is introduced in the process of mixing the alcohol and water. Solution is cleaned with activated carbon and introduced into finishing tank, added the rest part of glucose in the mixture of lactic acid, filtered and bottled. Vodka contains, kg/1000 dal: glucose, 2-4; lactic acid, 0.1-0.3; aqueous-alcoholic liquid up to 40% of alcohol strength, the balance. EFFECT: improved organoleptical properties; broadened assortment of vodkas having a slight aroma of tormentil with reduced toxic action of alcohol to man's organism.
