METHOD OF VODKA PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: liqueur and vodka industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing an aqueous-spirituous solution (proof is 40%) by mixing rectified ethyl alcohol of the highest purification degree and purified drinking water. Solution is stirred thoroughly and after control of its proof value is repumped into supply tank and fed on carbon-cleansing battery. The rate of the solution filtration is up to 40 dal/ /h for the fresh carbon and up to 30 dal/h for regenerated carbon. Filtered off vodka is fed into finishing tank. Natural vegetable product ameliorant agent "AMO=97" dissolved preliminary in vodka in the ratio 1:10 is added to mixture into finishing tank at the constant stirring. Then vodka is stirred thoroughly and its proof value is controlled. If proof value vodka is deviated from the standard value then the latter index is corrected by addition of alcohol or water into the same tanks followed by stirring and control for proof value. Ready vodka is fed to pouring with obligatory control filtration. Ready vodka has the following ratio of components, kg/1000 dal: ameliorant agent "AMO=97", 0.2-0.4; xylitol, 3.5-4.5; rectified ethyl alcohol of the highest purification degree and purified drinking water to as measured to obtain the blend proof 40%. Proposed vodka has the soft vodka aroma and enriched with easily assimilated sugar and the complex of biologically active substances.
