FIELD: liqueur and vodka industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing mixture of an aqueous-spirituous solution by mixing rectified ethyl alcohol and drinking purified water to obtain vodka with the strength 40%. Prepared mixture is stirred thoroughly, corrected its strength and pumped over into supply tank followed by feeding to carbon-purifying battery. The rate of mixture filtration is up to 40 dal/h for fresh activated carbon and up to 30 dal/h for regenerated carbon. Filtered off vodka is fed into finishing tank. Dries ginseng extract is dissolved in vodka preliminary in the ratio 1:20, held for 0.5-1.5 day, filtered off thoroughly and mixed with carbohydrate modulus "Alkosoft". Mixture is held for 0.5-1 h and added it into finishing tank at constant stirring. After addition of components the content of finishing tank is stirred and strength is checked and corrected by addition of alcohol or water if necessary in the case of deviation of standard vodka strength value followed by stirring and the strength control. Ready vodka is sent for bottling with obligatory control filtration. Components of vodka are used in the following ratio per 1 000 dal of ready product: dried ginseng extract "Relikt", 0.08-0.4 kg; carbohydrate modulus "Alkosoft", 6-10 l; rectified ethyl alcohol "Luks" and drinking purified water, the balance, to obtain the strength 40%. Proposed method allows preparing vodka with enhanced organoleptic indices, low toxic effect on human body. Using alcohol "Luks" provides softening and improvement of taste quality of ready product. Preliminary mixing carbohydrate modulus with ginseng extract and holding the mixture activates biologically active properties of extract and adsorbs their that allow their prolonged storage and to maintain in active state in ready product. This exceeds properties of separately taken components significantly with respect to reducing toxic effect of alcohol on human body and elicits these properties for all time of vodka storage.
