FIELD: devising of tools used in metal working with formation of chips and manufactured from cemented carbide with wear-resistance coating deposited from gas phase. SUBSTANCE: body from cemented carbide with coating has the first layer of coating adjacent with base in the form of layer of metal carbonitride MetCxN1-x, where 0≤x≥1, and the second layer in the form of layer of metal oxynitrocarbide MetCxOyNz,, where 0.7 ≤ x + y + z ≥ 1.3, and 0.2 <y > 0.8, and the third layer in the form of wear-resistant layer of MetCxN1-x, where 0 <x > 1. In this case, metal is selected from group including Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb and Ta. EFFECT: higher adhesion between layers. 19 cl, 2 dwg
