SUBSTANCE: reactor has cellular member enclosed in casing and provided with large number of channels to pass exhaust gases. It has also gas intake side and gas discharge side. Cellular member at gas intake side and preferably also at gas discharge side is insulated, at least over part of its length, from inner surface of casing by internal insulation. External surface of casing, at least on separations, is also provided with heat insulation, and casing, at least on separate sections, serves as heat accumulator. Such design provides favorable characteristics both at starting from cold and hot as one of sections at starting from cold heats up quickly and this section, after long operation, cools down slowly owing to heat transfer to casing.
