METHOD FOR PRODUCING SOIL AMELIORANT Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture, in particular, commercial recycling of poultry and animal house wastes to produce soil ameliorants for soils depleted due to inadequate agricultural activities. SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing bird dung with organic fillers to obtain bulk mass; composting bulk mass in fermenter; providing forced aeration by discrete blowing of air in the process of fermentation while maintaining temperature within the range of 80-85 C and moisture content within the range of 42-45%; simultaneously exposing mixture to continuous laser radiation within light wave length range and to continuous pulsed infrared laser radiation of λ=800-920 nanometers; additionally exposing mixture in fermenter to electromagnetic radiation with the intensity of 0.05 mT to 1.5 T. Produced soil ameliorant has increased biological activity, high humification capacity, improved friability; it does not infect soil with seeds of weed plants and disease excitants, enriches and revives soil.
