FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: electric filter has case, laminated settling electrodes with dielectric coating, ionizing electrodes, electric travelling-field electrodes, and power supply sources. Ionizing electrodes are made as wing-shaped blades with sharp rear edge. Electrodes of electric travelling field are shaped as plates with layer of homogeneous dielectric. They also have wing-shaped profile. Electrodes are distributed in active zone of electric filter so that they form flat grid in plane passing along gas flow perpendicularly to settling electrode. Ionizing electrodes are connected to source of single-phase alternating current, and electrodes of electric travelling field are connected in succession from ionizing electrode to starting leads of phase windings of three-phase alternating-current source.
