FIELD: cleaning of dust-laden gases. SUBSTANCE: electric precipitator has channels of laminated collecting electrodes with discharge electrodes inserted between them in tandem, as well as screening members; the latter are made in the form of two metal plates covered with homogeneous dielectric layer, its external surface being wing-shaped with pointed rear edge. Screening members are placed in gas flow between discharge electrodes symmetrically relative to plane crossing center of channel parallel to collecting electrodes, at angles of attack equal in absolute value. Current line curved due to wing-shaped profile augments gas-dynamic pressure on aerosol particles precipitated in electric field. EFFECT: improved efficiency of gas cleaning from dust. 3 cl, 1 dwg
