FIELD: gas cleaning. SUBSTANCE: flow of gas laden with highly dispersing aerosol is let in turn pass through regions of plasma of barrier discharge and filtering element following one another in alternating order. Regions of plasma of barrier discharge are generated between pairs of plane-parallel perforated electrodes coated with dielectric that are fed in parallel from source of alternating electric current having intensity B/M. of electric field in zone of discharge. Process makes it feasible to perform fine cleaning of gases from highly dispersing aerosols with high concentrations of dust loading of flow with particles with average diameter not less than 0.1 μ thanks to effective coagulation of particles in filtering element and to reduce content of harmful impurities of carbon and nitrogen oxides and sulfurous anhydride by their oxidation with ozone. EFFECT: possibility of fine cleaning of gases from highly dispersing aerosols. 2 cl, 1 dwg
