FIELD: cleaning of gas from dust. SUBSTANCE: electric filter includes case, system of corona-forming electrodes and protective elements manufactured in the form of identical blade of wing profile and system of precipitation electrodes. Wing blades having sharp rear edges are so distributed in active zone of electric filter that they form flat grid of profiles in plane passing along gas flow perpendicular to precipitation electrodes. Its position is set by angle of installation of profile and angle of attack of profile. Manufacture of corona-forming electrodes in the form of wing profile leads to more uniform distribution of intensity in active zone of electric filter. Making of protective elements from dielectric, for example, fluoroplastic and their distribution in the form of grid of profiles in interelectrode space contributes to increase of its resistance. Usage of corona-forming electrodes and protective elements in the form of wing profile with sharp rear edges diminished resistance to gas flow, enhances carrying capacity of filter and ensures effective cleaning of gases from dust.
