FIELD: microbiology, vaccines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing the preparation used for prophylaxis and treatment of staphylococcus infections and showing an immunostimulating effect. Staphylococcus cells are cultured for 10 days followed by destruction of cells in an autoclave under 1.0 atm for 30 min. Detoxication is carried out by addition of formalin to staphylococcus suspension for two stages. Firstly, formalin is added up to its concentration 0.3-0.4% in medium and incubated at 37-40 C for 7-10 days and then - up to the final concentration 0.5-0.6% and incubation at 44-46 C for 5-8 days. Destruction of staphylococcus cells can be carried out by gamma-irradiation using 60Co at the dose 1.0-2.0 x 106 R. Then the end product is sorbed on aluminium hydroxide and sterilized in an autoclave. EFFECT: increased storage period and stabilization of the end product. 2 cl, 4 ex
