METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF VODKA "CHISTYE PRUDY" Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: liqueur and vodka industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing an aqueous-alcoholic mixture (40% proof), its treatment with activated carbon followed by feeding into finishing tank. Aqueous-alcoholic infusions of dried laminaria and bladder wrack (Fucus) are obtained by a single infusion at amount 0.2-0.3 and 0.1-0.2 l/1000 dal, respectively. Infusions are filtered and added successively to ready vodka at intermediate stirring for 15-25 min. Ready vodka containing added components is filtered, honey is added and fed to the pouring. Ready vodka has the following ratio of components, kg/1000 dal: dried laminaria 0.02-0.04; honey 7.5-8.5; bladder wrack (Fucus) 0.01-0.02 and an aqueous-alcoholic liquid - the rest.
