FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: molecular structure represents assembly of spatially ordered rigid two-chain nucleic acid molecules (building units). These molecules are ordered in the form of complex (nucleic acid-antibiotic) in lyotropic cholesteric liquid-crystal dispersion formed in aqueous saline solution of neutral polymer. Adjacent nucleic acid molecules are fixed in space by polymer chelate linkages. Molecular structure is intended for use in analytical biotechnology, ecology, and medicine as integrated biosensor, in clinical biochemistry and molecular pharmacology, and also for use in nanotechnology for creating new constructional materials with controlled optical and electrochemical properties. EFFECT: extended application area of biological macromolecules. 12 cl, 15 dwg, 5 ex
