FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: lyotropic cholesteric mesomorphic dispersion as an integral biosensor for assay of biologically active substances in liquid to be analyzed is prepared. This dispersion is a complex of double-stranded nucleic acid molecules with chitosan in an aqueous-saline solution with physiological ionic strength value. Complex has anthracycline antibiotic additionally. Dispersion is prepared by mixing chitosan an aqueous solution and an aqueous-saline solution of nucleic acid to form chitosan "cross-links" fixing nucleic acid molecules in dispersion composition that shows intensive band in circular dichroism spectrum at λ about 270 nm.
