FIELD: cooling the compressed air in power gas-turbine plants by means of gas-and-liquid heat exchangers. SUBSTANCE: according to invention, rotor carries concentric shells provided with baffle plates on either end which circular chutes concentric relative to shaft and located over periphery of circular chambers which are used as heat exchange passages. Each baffle plate is made in form of truncated cone whose smaller base diameter side of gas inlet exceeds that on side of outlet, thus making it possible to overflow cooling liquid only on side of gas inlet. During operation of heat exchanger, constant filling level is maintained in each chute due to overflow, thus excluding unbalance of rotor due to nonuniform distribution of water over surface of shell. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability. 8 cl, 6 dwg
