FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves examining spatial formation of tumor nature by means of multifunctional ultrasonic scanner unit in the following sequence. First, ultrasonic gray scale scanning is carried out in real time for determining echo structure, size and volume of the intraocular spatial formation. Then, availability and properties of vascular neoplasm network is visually evaluated in color Doppler mapping mode. The vascular network being visualized, triplex scanning mode is applied with pulsating dopplerographic examination being used for recording blood circulation characteristics. Feeding blood vessel being detected in the peripheral area, arterial blood circulation recorded as Doppler frequency shift curve, and chaotic vascular network with low resistance blood flows (Ri=0.566 ± 0.014) in the central zone of their formation detected in color Doppler mapping mode, being observed in combination, intraocular tumor is to be diagnosed. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of diagnosis method; differentiated cases of tumors and pseudotumors including the cases of nontransparent optic media.
