FIELD: ice engineering; applicable in formation of platforms on ice surface for traffic or freight storage. SUBSTANCE: platform is formed on ice surface at depth of less than ice thickness to increase thickness of load-carrying platform. Produced ice surface is subjected to effect of subzero temperatures for time required for formation of accretions under ice in place of trench excavation with thickness equalling ice thickness. In formed ice surface, through holes are made for filling of trench with water. Then, ice surface is again subjected to effect of subzero temperatures for time required for complete freezing of water. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
