FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing biological tissue of a living subject to optic radiation at wave length invoking the quantity of radiation power absorbed and transformed into heat in the tissue within the region providing minimum absorption speed enough for increasing mean temperature of the tissue under irradiation to the level surpassing the basic temperature of the body, but is lower than absorption speed at which the tissue is transformed into collagen substance. Therapeutic warming-up action is produced inside the tissue under irradiation but without tissue destruction effects due to thermal overheating taking place. The method involves using laser system from 100 mW to 800 mW in pulsating or continuous operation mode with optic power produced by Nd-YAG laser having fundamental 1064 nm wavelength. EFFECT: alleviated pain in soft tissues; removed inflammation effects; enhanced effectiveness of tissue treatment. 20 cl, 1 tbl
