FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing photosensitizer. Tumor growth zone is exposed to therapeutic optic radiation after achieving therapeutic photosensitizer concentration of photosensitizer in this zone and applying therapeutic optic radiation absorbable by the photosensitizer. Power density is equal to 100-800 mW/cm2. Dose is equal to 100-500 J/cm2. Just before the photosensitizer being introduced, tumor growth zone is exposed to laser radiation absorbable by the photosensitizer. Power density is equal to 5-200 mW/cm2. Light dose is equal to 10-60 J/cm2. At the time of or immediately after the photosensitizer being introduced, the mentioned zone is exposed to laser radiation absorbable by the photosensitizer. Power density is equal to 20-800 mW/cm2. Light dose is equal to 20-60 J/cm2. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; reduced phototoxic adverse effects; higher protection level of the photodynamic therapy. 2 cl
