FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to experimental medicine and oncology, and can be used for photodynamic therapy of transplanted superficial solid connective tissue sarcoma M-1 of rats. That is ensured by introducing a photosensitizer "Photoran E6" in doses of 5.0 mg/kg, which when extrapolated to a human dose is 0.85 mg/kg of patient's body weight. 2.5 hours after the photosensitizer is introduced, the laser is irradiated at wave length 660–670 nm with power density 250 mW/cm2 and energy density of 300 J/cm2 laser radiation, exposure time – 20 minutes.
EFFECT: method provides higher effectiveness of photodynamic therapy, longer life and 100 % complete cure of animals due to optimally selected parameters and mode of laser exposure and dose of the introduced photosensitizer.
