FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental medicine and can be used for photodynamic therapy of transplanted ectodermal tumor of melanoma B16 of mice. Photosensitiser (PS) of Fotoran E6 is administered in dose of 5 mg/kg. Wave length is in range of 660–670 nm. Laser therapy is carried out with the following parameters: Ps=0,25 W/cm2, E=152 J/cm2. If administered intravenously, the time between administration and irradiation session is 45 minutes to 1 hour, while intraperitoneal exposure makes 1.5 to 2 hours.
EFFECT: method provides complete tumor eradication with minimal damage of surrounding healthy tissues due to optimal time from the moment of administering PS to irradiation with laser.
