FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing photosensitizer. Tumor growth zone is exposed to therapeutical laser radiation after achieving maximum photosensitizer concentration difference between the mentioned zone and the surrounding uninjured tissues by applying therapeutic optic radiation absorbable by the photosensitizer. Power density is equal to 200-450 mW/cm2. Dose is equal to 150-700 J/cm2. Immediately before the photosensitizer being introduced, tumor growth zone is exposed to laser radiation absorbable by the photosensitizer. Light dose is equal to 10-60 J/cm2. Power density is selected under pain sensitivity control and marked degree of pain reflexes. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; high level of anesthesia enough for performing therapeutic irradiation without anesthesia.
