FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to experimental medicine and oncology, namely to a method of photodynamic therapy of inoculated tumour of B-16 melanoma of mice. According to the disclosed method, a chlorine photosensitizer with PSMA-ligand is introduced intravenously into an animal's body in dose of 2.5–5.0 mg/kg, and then the tumour is irradiated with laser light with parameters: wavelength of 650–670 nm, power density Ps = 0.4–0.5 W/cm2, energy density E = 100–200 J/cm2, wherein the time between the introduction of said photosensitizer and the irradiation session is 45 minutes to 1 hour. where R1 is selected from hydrogen (H), sodium (Na), potassium (K) or C1-C2-alkyl, R2 is a group of general formula CxH2x, where x = 4÷17, R3 is selected from hydrogen (H), sodium (Na) or potassium (K).
EFFECT: method provides higher effectiveness of photodynamic therapy and leads to complete eradication of B-16 melanoma of experimental animals with minimal damage of surrounding healthy tissues due to selective accumulation of photosensitizer in tumour caused by PSMA ligand capture of photosensitizer by PSMA receptors of melanoma cells, as well as due to optimally selected parameters and mode of laser exposure.
