FIELD: machine engineering technologies, working by abrasive tools, namely by grinding discs for round, outer and surface grinding of parts of materials having tendency to occurrence of flaws such as burning on and microcracking. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of imparting to tool rotation and feed motion along worked surface; imparting to part rotation at round grinding and cross motion - at surface grinding; using buildup tool having at least three abrasive discs of the same height and using mean disc with working layer axially shifted along direction of longitudinal feed.
