SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry of adamantane derivatives and a new method of synthesis of amino-derivatives of adamantane of the general formula: AdR where R means NH₂, NHBu-t, NHCH=O, ; Ad means that are biologically compounds and can be used in pharmacology and adamant-ylamine is used as a base of drug "MIdantan". New method of synthesis of adamant-1-ylamine and its derivatives involves interaction of adamantane derivative with corresponding amines or their derivatives. 1,3-Dehydroadamantane is used as adamantane derivative and ammonia, tert.-butylamine, formamide, morpholine, piperidine, pyrrolidone-2, succinimide and phthalimide are used as amines or their derivatives. Process is carried out at mole ratio of reagents = 1:(2-10) in the presence of trifluoroboron etherate taken at catalytic amount or in its absence, in medium of inert solvent or in the parent amines or their derivatives, at 20-100 C and at ratio 1,3-dehydroadamantane : amine = (1: 2)-(1:10) for 1-6 h.
