FIELD: railway transport; two- cab locomotives. SUBSTANCE: locomotive gangway device has flexible housing 3 connected to end face of locomotive body and to intermediate frame for engagement with gangway device of other rail vehicle, foot plate 5 installed in lower part of gangway device and shock absorbers 6 arranged between body and intermediate frame. All these components are mounted in cavity 1 made in lower end face part of body. Cavity is connected by gangway chamber 7 with gangboard 8 with control cab 9 found in upper end face part of body and is closed by flaps from side of body end face. Gangway chamber is separated from cavity by pass door, and from control cab, by closure. Flaps of cavity, flexible housing, foot plate and shock absorbers are provided with moving-apart mechanisms and extreme position locks. Foot plate, when being moved, can be set at level of foot plate of passenger car gangways. Moving-apart mechanisms of cavity flaps, flexible housing, foot plate and shock absorbers are made remote-controlled. Flexible housing moving-apart mechanisms are made en-block with shock absorbers.
